Transmutation refers to transformation. It is the act of transforming one substance within us into another. It is often associated with being able to transform ourselves, that is, being able to transform our base nature into another nature of superior quality.
It was well expressed by the medieval Alchemists by transmuting lead into gold. Which Master Samael expresses as transmuting the lead of the personality into the gold of the spirit.
The base of all human nature is our sexual energy, that is the energy that creates us that brings us to life. Our sexual energy is really our most primal energy and therefore makes up our base nature. So, when we speak about transmutation we are really speaking about transforming the quality of our sexual energies.
Our sexual energy brings us to life and therefore is a real legitimate power to be able to transform ourselves.
We can actually transform our sexual energy, which primordially is present in every human being as the seminal entity (‘ens seminis’ of Paracelsus) into energy of a higher quality which can then be channeled through the body, invigorating and renewing the different cells of our organs, as well as nourishing various other higher energetic and spiritual centres within our body.
The presence of this transmuted energy circulating within our whole system which is actually physical, psychological and spiritual various changes begin to occur.
Transmutation is something that unifies these two opposites, it actually draws us into unity with our sexual centre, sexual energy and sexuality.
It draws the sexual energy into our whole system so that it and we, can join or unify with us and us with it. It also draws our sexual centre closer to us, it allows us to integrate it into our whole system, because with lust the sexual centre becomes a rogue centre, a kind of runaway centre. People do silly things because they lose control over their sexual centre and it leads them. Transmutation prevents this.
Transmutation heals any schism that we have within us in relation to sexual energy and sexuality. If we have some kind of rejection to do with sex, some kind of nonacceptance, the force of that rejection actually comes against us in the form of a push into the opposite, which is to stumble into what we reject.
The role of sexuality is that, to always seek completion or unity and once something is a unity it is self-contained.
This is because with the sexual energy we can create our own universe or rather complete the creation of our own universe, which is what we in Gnosis class as the self-realization. All that we need to complete our inner Genesis or rather the inner Genesis of our Being is our sexual energy and what is in our sexual energy.
When we consciously and mindfully transmute our sexual energy we actually do something remarkable and it is to communicate and commune with our sexual centre.
When we transmute mindfully, we actually connect our awareness then our mind and heart to our sexual centre. Then a channel of communication is established. There we can perceive our sexual centre and perceive the way it reacts and behaves in response to our thoughts and feelings. We can also perceive how the energy is being moved and transmuted.
We can perceive how our sexual centre changes when we send positive thoughts and feelings to it. We can perceive how it is benefited with our positive intentions and conscious waves of communication.
This for anyone is like a certain joy of integration. This can be experienced if one is single or married.
With a channel of communication, we can then converse with our sexual centre and this is very beneficial. Our sexual centre has a marvelous intelligence and so when we converse with it silently with awareness to awareness with our benevolent exchange of emotion we bring our sexual centre into line and into co-operation with our yearnings and aspirations.
With communication to our sexual centre we make our sexual centre an ally and we can heal it. It has an atomic intelligence and we can connect to it with our consciousness.
This way is a marvelous way to heal our sexual centre. Because of wrong uses our sexual centre can need some healing. This communication heals the sexual centre. It opens many subtle channels for blockages to be channeled to the correct spots, it activates certain self-healing processes within the sexual centre and it incites the sexual centre to work correctly and correct functioning produces health and is health.
