All the scriptures insist that we need to awaken, but none of them tell us how. Gnosis teaches us the necessary scientific, philosophical, mystical and artistic principles and methods to apply in order to achieve this in a practical way: The intimate realisation and awakening to our true nature and identity as a Divine Soul in creation.
Mystery schools teach that we have a Divine and Human nature within, and that it is necessary to humanise the Divine and divinise the Human. The bridge between the human and Divine is psychology. There is no reaching or integrating with divinity, without putting the correct psychological principles and foundations in place. We need to build the bridge to the superior dimensions within us and clear it of obstacles, psychological obstacles which exist within us. We need to establish the psychology of a soul, the soul we are in creation in order to receive and integrate with our inner divine principles. The divine cannot co-exist with a limited human psychology.
Gnosis teaches us how to change our way of thinking and feeling, to align our psychology with that of our true divine nature, how to remove and eliminate our psychological obstacles, so that we can be awakened, conscious and see reality from a superior state of consciousness.
